• Job description

  You will join a small team of around ten people. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the safe and stable operation of the continuous fermentation processes and the optimisation of green gas production. Maintaining an overview, communicating with colleagues, investigating problems and suggesting
  improvement proposals are important parts of your job. Showing initiative is appreciated. Due to the small and close-knit team, you are able to make an immediate impact.

  As a Technical Operator, these are your main daily tasks and responsibilities:

  • Functioning of digestion, water treatment, drying and gas upgrading
  • Monitoring and tracking production parameters
  • 24/7 breakdown and on-call services with associated and additional compensation (1 x per 5 weeks)
  • Perform sample analyses , control rounds and calibrations
  • Managing stocks of products for fermentation and processing
  • Perform daily process optimisation
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance and corrective breakdowns
• About the company

  Our client has a state-of-the-art industrial-scale facility for processing organic waste streams. The facility will produce around 23 million
  m3 of biogas per year and 40,000 tonnes of organic manure pellets. Some of the biogas is upgraded to green gas for the Dutch gas grid. This green gas can meet the annual gas consumption of around 2,700 households, for example, and plays an important role in making the Netherlands more sustainable.
