• Job description

  As Co-operating Team Leader Assembly, you will provide daily functional leadership to a team of about 15 assembly specialists. You are the link between the shop floor and the Supervisor Assembly and ensure that the production process runs according to schedule, quality standards and in a safe working environment. You will work part-time (25%) or manage full-time, depending on your preference and background.

  Your duties/responsibilities:

  • You coordinate, plan and control the daily work;
  • You will induct new colleagues and train them on the shop floor;
  • You monitor project progress, quality, safety and delivery time;
  • You keep time records and intervene in case of discrepancies;
  • You identify improvement opportunities and implement improvements;
  • You will create a safe and structured working environment in line with the 6S model;
  • You give direction to your colleagues in a coaching manner and ensure knowledge sharing;
  • You actively contribute to team development and continuous improvement.
• About the company

  You will join our client in Oss - an innovative, technically advanced organisation with around 355 employees. As a brand owner, they design and build impressive mobile tower cranes, up to 40 metres high and 60 metres long, on heavy truck chassis. Everything is done in-house: from engineering to assembly, and from sales to maintenance. Think high-tech environment with electric motors, hydraulics, lithium-ion batteries, high voltage and diesel technology from John Deere.

  Within the Assembly department, over 100 colleagues work in subteams, with plenty of room to optimise processes together with other team leaders and the Supervisor. As a Co-operating Team Leader Assembly, you will manage a team of 15 colleagues.

• Offer
  • Minimum MBO level 3 working and thinking level in a technical field;
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive or mechanical engineering;
  • You have knowledge of electrical and/or hydraulics (must for the Electrical/Overframe role);
  • You show natural leadership and know how to take people with you in change;
  • You monitor quality, safety, cost and schedule with conviction;
  • You will fit within a robust technical culture and stand firmly in your shoes;
  • You can communicate with colleagues of all levels, from mechanics to sales.
