A new day shift position with our client to keep a machine park running 24/7! Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician with good electrical and mechanical skills? Do you also have good analytical skills and a solution-oriented mentality? Then we are looking for you!

• Job description

  For the production process of glass fibres, use is made of high-quality machinery consisting of production machines developed entirely in-house. As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure, through maintenance and installation work, that all production machines and R&D equipment are in good working order 24/7, thus minimising machine downtime.

  Some of your daily tasks include:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and overhaul of assembled parts;
  • Resolving complex failures;
  • Coordinating work with production and colleagues;
  • Taking care of the administrative handling of work;
  • Manage and monitor utility systems and perform various utility work;
  • Running standby duty as per schedule (limited);
  • Identifying areas for improvement and making improvement proposals;
  • Adjusting machines;
  • Drafting and modifying maintenance documentation.

• Offer
  • A completed relevant study at MBO level;
  • Number of years' work experience in a comparable position or in a manufacturing environment;
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
  • Experience in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings;
  • Basic VCA and NEN 3140.
