    Our client is a leading player in the chemical industry with five large production sites in Europe. For the Geleen site, Reflex Intelligence is looking to expand the team for a Maintenance Engineer who sees the challenge in looking after the installations.

    Your main duties/responsibilities in this role:

    • Responsibility for specification and delineation of legal 'static' inspections;
    • Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of this specification to the plant maintenance manager / senior planners, e.g. through reports in SAP;
    • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable technical requirements and practices;
    • Responsible for checking preventive work/documentation performed in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements;
    • Responsible for compliance with legal (codal) requirements and regulations relating to safety, environment and hygiene;
    • Responsible for the delivery of maintenance recovery plans relating to the resolution of first-line problems arising from legal inspections, including multidisciplinary problems, and the timely and sufficient involvement of other specialists;
    • Responsible for the delivery of minor modifications, acts as project manager in the Management of Change process;
    • Responsible for adequate information exchange and analysis of legal 'static' inspection work with the other ME static engineers assigned to the plant to enable optimisation of preventive maintenance plans and costs;
    • Member of scope team meetings and responsible for the correct and timely Turn Around 'preventive legal static' scope of a specific plant;
    • Member of the mechanical engineering team during the turnaround;
    • Active member of various meetings, e.g. plant static technical consultation;
    • Discuss/define necessary replacement and improvement projects with technical colleagues;
    • Enables effective maintenance at minimum cost by optimising possible technical solutions and the costs associated with preparing and implementing that solution;
    • Responsible for an adequate level of expertise regarding discipline-specific knowledge(failure mechanisms, WBDA, PED, etc.) as well as plant-specific knowledge (PGS, EEMUA, etc.);
    • Leads evaluations of maintenance work performed to improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness;
    • Shares in risk analyses (SA, PHR, JSA, TRA) and root cause analyses where applicable;
    • Material manager of 'static' materials within the defined area.

    Our client is a global diversified chemicals company, headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It produces on a global scale in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific and makes various types of products: chemicals, basic and high-performance plastics, agri-nutrients and metals.

    The client has five major production sites in Europe, including one in Geleen at Chemelot industrial park. The other plant clusters are in Teesside (England), Gelsenkirchen (Germany), Bergen op Zoom (Netherlands) and Cartagena (Spain). There are also seven small production sites in Europe.

    The Geleen site currently employs 900 in-house staff. You will report to the Manager Central Maintenance and will work in a team of eight colleagues.

    • MBO/HBO degree in a technical field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering or related) and you already have some experience in process engineering;
    • Your knowledge of pressure equipment, associated regulations and inspections (PED);

    • You enjoy working together and have good communication skills;

    • Our client is a leading organisation in process engineering. They offer:

      • A gross monthly salary of up to €6500;
      • Working day shift;
