• Job description

  As a Cylinder Overhaul Technician, you will work on high-quality hydraulic cylinders that are used all over the world. You will be responsible for assembling, dismantling and testing large hydraulic cylinders up to 24 metres in length!

  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Dismantling, cleaning, inspecting, repairing and reassembling hydraulic cylinders
  • Identifying damage, irregularities and defects, and recording these in inspection and damage reports
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, dimensions and hydraulic diagrams
  • Carrying out measurements and checks using specialist measuring equipment to ensure quality and functionality
  • Testing reconditioned cylinders for functionality and leak-tightness using test facilities

• About the company

  You will be working in a production environment where craftsmanship, tidiness and teamwork are key. Thanks to the variety of products and projects, no two weeks are the same. You will work largely independently on the machines in an innovative production hall in Boxtel.

• Offer
  • Proven experience and/or qualifications at MBO level, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
  • Experience in the assembly, disassembly and testing of hydraulic cylinders is strongly preferred
  • You can use hand-held measuring tools such as micrometres and thread gauges
  • You hold a hoisting and lifting certificate and a forklift truck and/or stacker certificate
  • You speak Dutch or good English
• Your profile
  • A salary ranging from €3,300 to €5,200 per month (depending on experience), based on a 40-hour week
  • 8% holiday pay and an annual profit-sharing scheme
  • 40 days off (27 annual leave days and 13 Adv days) in accordance with the Metal and Electrical Industry Collective Agreement
