For our client, we are looking for an experienced and independent Senior Service Technician at one of their client sites in Zaltbommel.   As a Senior Service Technician, you will be the point of contact during your shift and ensure that all work is carried out safely and efficiently. You work hands-on on mechanical, electrical and control systems and take on a coordinating role within your team. You have an important task in preventing and solving malfunctions and play an active role in improving technical processes.

  Your duties and responsibilities

  • Solving mechanical, electromechanical and control faults;
  • Perform installations, modifications, maintenance and repairs;
  • Coordinate all activities during the shift and ensure timely execution of planned and unplanned maintenance;
  • Act as the first point of contact for the customer and the Global Service Desk during technical failures and escalations;
  • Functionally manage, supervise and train colleagues within your shift;
  • Contribute to a safe working environment and ensure compliance with HSE agreements;
  • Actively participate in shift transfers and reporting in the system (DOS Maximo);
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement technical and process improvements;
  • Assess and execute call-outs within a 1.5-hour radius from Zaltbommel (Amsterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven).
• About the company

  You will be working at our client, a leading company in automated logistics systems. These systems are located at one of their clients' modern sites in Zaltbommel. This location is equipped with the latest technologies and offers a varied working environment with a variety of tasks, from preventive maintenance to troubleshooting. You will be part of a close-knit team of 10 technicians working in a 5-shift schedule. As a site-based team, you are close to the operation and are given a lot of responsibility and space to develop yourself.

• Offer
  • A completed technical MBO-4 education or similar work experience;
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance;
  • Demonstrable experience in analysing and troubleshooting;
  • Affinity with control technology (controls);
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and/or English;
  • A proactive work attitude, team spirit and the ability to make technical decisions;
  • Willingness to work 5-shifts and attend additional courses and training;
  • Flexibility to perform call-outs within a 1.5-hour radius from Zaltbommel.
• Your profile
  • A gross monthly salary between €3,200 and €3,500 excluding 5-shift bonus of 30%
