Together with three other mechanics, you will work on maintenance, malfunctions and improvements within a chemical production process. Job description
As an E&I Mechanic, you are responsible for inspecting, maintaining and optimising electrical and instrumentation installations. You work the day shift and ensure that production installations continue to run safely and reliably. In doing so, you work closely with production, quality department and technical support. You report to the Maintenance Field Supervisor E&I.
Your duties and responsibilities:
- Performing inspections of production facilities and peripheral equipment;
- Assess maintenance status based on checklists and own judgment;
- Troubleshooting and performing E&I maintenance work;
- Commissioning of new and modified systems;
- Testing and inspection of low-voltage installations according to NEN1010 and NEN3140;
- Collaborate on process improvements and a safe, clean working environment;
- Direct and control work by external contractors;
- Participate in the development of preventive and corrective maintenance processes;
- Rotate on-call shifts (once every four weeks).

Offer
- A completed MBO education in Electrical Engineering or Measurement and Control Engineering
- Experience with E&I work in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of PLCs, process computers, gas detection systems and process automation
- Safety awareness and experience with chemical plants is a plus
- Accurate, flexible and results-oriented attitude
- Proactive attitude, thinks about improvements and provides feedback
- Willingness to work on-call shifts (once every 4 weeks)
- Good command of the Dutch language and basic knowledge of English in words

- Gross annual salary between €38,569 and €61,047, depending on experience, including holiday pay
- Mileage allowance of €0.23 per km
