For our client, a leading developer and builder of mobile tower cranes, we are looking for an Assembly Mechanic who will take care of assembling (sub)assemblies of mobile tower cranes in the workshop in Oss with the aim of ensuring that the mobile tower crane is produced correctly and on time.

    As an Assembly Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical, electrical and hydraulic assemblies within our production environment. You work accurately and according to applicable work instructions to ensure that the (sub)assemblies are delivered on time and according to quality requirements.

    Your duties and responsibilities:

    • Receiving work orders from the shopfloor system or as instructed by the Co-operating Teamleader Assembly;
    • Study relevant procedures and work instructions and collect required materials and (auxiliary) tools;
    • Perform assembly work according to established work instructions;
    • Checking work performed against applicable checklists;
    • Identify imperfections during assembly and contribute to improvements within your area of focus;
    • Record and report work performed in the shopfloor system;
    • Ensure a clean, tidy and safe workplace according to current internal methods.

    The Assembly department takes care of the assembly and delivery of mobile tower cranes according to the required quality standards. The department consists of several teams, including Pre-assembly, Trucks, Upper Frames, Masts, Booms, Final Assembly, Electrical and Paint Shop.

    • MBO-3 or -4 working and thinking level, preferably in the direction of Mechatronics or a similar education;
    • Experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic assembly work;
    • You work in a structured way and have an eye for quality and results;
    • Good communication skills and you enjoy working together in a team;
    • You are proactive and independently identify areas for improvement within your work process.

    • A gross monthly salary between €2,770 and €4,059
