You turn plans into production results. As a hands-on Production Planner, you ensure orders are achievable, make daily adjustments on the shop floor and improve delivery reliability. You act as the link between Work Planning, Procurement, Operations and CNC production.

    • Draw up a realistic production plan (capacity, materials, lead time);
    • Only approve feasible production orders (ERP/MRP);
    • Coordinate daily with Work Planning, Procurement and Operations;
    • Monitor progress and work in progress (WIP); identify and address deviations immediately;
    • Take action in the event of machine breakdowns, illness or material shortages;
    • Re-plan and adjust priorities to ensure smooth operations and delivery reliability;
    • Set clear daily priorities on the shop floor and monitor their implementation;
    • Coordinate staffing levels and capacity with the Operations Manager;
    • Analyse bottlenecks and take timely action within the schedule;
    • Increase OTIF and make structural improvements to the planning process and ERP discipline.

    • MBO+/HBO level of working and thinking (logistics, engineering or supply chain);
    • At least 3 years’ experience in production planning or operations within a manufacturing environment;
    • Experience with ERP systems; strong skills in handling data, prioritising tasks and managing lead times;
    • Organising work in a logical manner, maintaining an overview and making decisions;
    • Strong communication skills; able to switch seamlessly between Operations, Work Planning, Procurement and Management;
    • Ownership: you take charge and see it through to the end;
    • Proactive: you don’t let matters slide and take timely action;
    • Present and approachable on the shop floor; you provide clarity and ensure follow-up;
    • Hands-on, pragmatic and able to cope with pressure in a high-mix/low-volume environment.
