For our client, we are looking for an Assembly Mechanic to join the assembly team in the Bakel region. In this position, you will make a direct contribution to building advanced solutions for the food processing industry.

• Job description

  As an Assembly Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring and testing mechanical, electronic and mechatronic components. You work on complete machines and installations and ensure that they meet the highest quality and safety standards. You read technical drawings, build according to plan and solve any malfunctions independently.

  Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings;
  • Assembly and wiring of mechanical and electronic components;
  • Perform assembly work according to schedule and specifications;
  • Loading software programmes and performing functional tests;
  • Signalling and troubleshooting;
  • Assist with welding and minor technical adjustments;
  • Ensuring a neat, safe and organised workplace.

  You will be working for our client, a leading international player in the manufacturing industry. From the location in the Bakel region, innovative machines and complete production lines are developed and assembled for the food processing sector. • Offer
  • A completed technical education at MBO level (e.g. electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering);
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in assembly work;
  • Experience in reading technical drawings;
  • Good command of the Dutch language and basic knowledge of English;
  • An accurate, problem-solving and hands-on working attitude.
