Our client is an internationally operating manufacturer within the FMCG industry and specialises in high-quality packaging solutions for the beverage market. At the production site in Oss, millions of products are manufactured every day within a modern, high-tech process environment. Technology, quality and continuous improvement are key here.
For this location, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer FE (day shift). A varied technical position in which you will make a direct contribution to the continuity and optimisation of the production process.

• Job description

  As Maintenance Engineer FE, you and your colleagues will be responsible for keeping the machinery running and improving it. You will work on a variety of machines and installations and deal with different techniques, such as hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and process engineering.

  No two days are the same: sometimes you solve a malfunction, other times you work on preventive maintenance or think up smart solutions to prevent future malfunctions. You work the day shift and support the production teams where necessary.

  Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting production machines and peripheral equipment such as pumps and extractors;
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment;
  • Repairing, machining and replacing parts in the workshop;
  • Working with various hand tools and machines (including turning, milling, grinding and welding equipment);
  • Measuring and checking with measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers;
  • Thinking about and implementing improvements to the machinery;
  • Transfer knowledge by training and supervising technical operators;
  • Collaborate with fellow mechanics and production to ensure the process runs optimally.
