Our client is an internationally operating producer within the FMCG industry and plays a leading role in sustainable packaging solutions. At the production site in Oss, they work daily on high-quality, fully recyclable products for customers worldwide.
To take the next step in operational excellence and continuous improvement, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager / CI Lead. In this role, you will be the driving force behind improving processes, performance and culture within the plant.

    As Continuous Improvement Manager, you will lead the implementation and further development of the production and improvement programme within the site. The goal: to deliver sustainable products of the highest quality, at the lowest possible cost and with the shortest lead time in a safe, pleasant and inclusive working environment.

    You will work closely with management and various stakeholders within the organisation and ensure that continuous improvement becomes part of daily work.

    Your duties and responsibilities:

    • Implement and further develop the Continuous Improvement production system;
    • Identify improvement opportunities to increase the operational focus and performance of the plant;
    • Actively encourage a CI culture based on data, facts and ownership;
    • Sharing CI best practices and knowledge within the organisation;
    • Lead improvement initiatives aimed at process control and optimisation;
    • Function as a point of contact for CI-related issues within various departments;
    • Train and supervise employees (including Yellow & Green Belt training courses);
    • Provide and manage visual communication around CI;
    • Manage CI project portfolio and report on progress, KPIs and targets;
    • Act as project manager on selected improvement projects;
    • Chair and attend project and steering committee meetings;
    • Ensure improvements are structurally integrated into daily operations;
    • Contribute to the Integrated Management System (IMS), including through SOPs, training and documentation;
    • Perform data analysis, SPC and experiments to improve processes;
    • Develop, implement and maintain SPC systems and related training courses.

    • Minimum 5 years' work experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG or manufacturing);
    • Thorough knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and TPM;
    • Experience with CI tools such as VSM, RCA and statistical analysis;
    • Black Belt certified or willing to obtain this certification;
    • Strong communication skills and ability to get people on board at all levels;
    • Analytically strong and comfortable with data from various sources;
    • Creative, solution-oriented and proactive in improving processes;
    • Demonstrable experience in project management and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
