Would you like to apply your electrical engineering knowledge at one of the largest and most complex industrial sites in the Netherlands? We are looking for a Maintenance Field Planner Electrical for our client in Geleen. In this role, you will ensure that maintenance work is prepared and carried out safely, efficiently and according to plan, in close collaboration with operations, maintenance and external contractors.

  As a Maintenance Field Planner Electrical, you are responsible for the occupational, technical and financial preparation of multidisciplinary maintenance work on installations. You are the connecting link between engineering, implementation and external parties and play a crucial role in ensuring safety, quality and cost control.

  You will work entirely on-site and report to the Planning & Scheduling C&I Supervisor. The team consists of approximately 10 colleagues.

  Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Checking delivered work packages for completeness and accuracy;
  • Assessing work on site and coordinating its impact on other jobs;
  • Preparing work in SAP PM, including task lists and documentation;
  • Windows of hours, lead time, materials and services;
  • Requesting and assessing the content and financial aspects of quotations from contractors;
  • Preventing and assessing additional and reduced work (including counter-calculations);
  • Drawing up and securing work permits and safety requirements;
  • Compiling implementation folders and transferring them to the person responsible for execution;
  • Financial processing and budget monitoring of assignments;
  • Supporting operations and technical departments with budgets;
  • Chairing “state of designation” sessions and preparing reports;
  • Contributing to continuous improvement in collaboration with contractors.

  You will be working for our client at one of the largest and most advanced production sites in the Netherlands, located in Geleen.

• Offer
  • Minimum MBO level (MBO+), preferably in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
  • Experience as a work planner/field planner in electrical engineering, preferably in the process industry;
  • Strong affinity with operational maintenance;
  • Knowledge of SAP PM;
  • Knowledge of calculation (experience with PDM-Calc is an advantage but not a requirement);
  • Knowledge of work permit systems and the Do-Maintenance work process;
  • You have a good command of the Dutch language (English is not required);
  • You work in a structured manner, have strong communication skills and are safety conscious.
