    In this position, you will work on challenging mechanical issues, perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, and actively contribute to projects, turnarounds, and improvement initiatives.     Your duties and responsibilities:

    • Carrying out and supervising repairs, overhauls and optimisations to our installations in accordance with the Asset Maintenance work process;
    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work;
    • Provide feedback on work performed in SAP;
    • Provides feedback and support for planning/work preparation;
    • Makes proposals for improvements in the areas of safety, quality, reliability and costs;
    • Participate in project reviews and safety studies;
    • Manage and partly provide technical documentation within the field;
    • Writing and documenting/managing procedures/instructions;
    • Participates in the preparation/execution of small/stops and turnarounds;
    • Part of this role involves running on-call shifts.

    You will be working for our client at one of the largest and most advanced production sites in the Netherlands, located in Geleen. You will be working in the Maintenance department and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The team consists of technicians/fitters, supervisors and engineers. The Maintenance department provides services to all nine factories on site.

    The team works with a strong focus on safety, security of supply and minimising breakdowns. The culture is driven, collegial and focused on collaborating with different disciplines within the process industry.

    • You have a level 4 vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification;
    • You have a passion for technology;
    • You actively contribute to EHSS; safety is in your DNA.;
    • You do not have a 9 to 5 mentality;
    • You have a good knowledge of maintenance; ;
    • You can perform tasks carefully and independently and respond quickly to changes in processes or the organisation.;
    • You are a team player and have good communication skills;
    • You are creative and driven to tackle problems at their core;
    • Experience with SAP is a plus;
    • You are in good physical condition; candidates undergo a medical examination as part of the selection procedure prior to acceptance.
