Our client, a leading family company in machine construction, develops and builds its own high-tech machines that are used worldwide. Due to growth and expansion, the Material Planning team is looking for a driven Production Planner who gets energy from structuring, thinking ahead and switching between different departments.

• Job description

  As Production Planner, you are responsible for drawing up, monitoring and optimising the entire production planning. You work at the basis of the manufacturing process: from the welding department to assembly. You ensure that the right materials, people and resources are available at the right time. Thanks to your insight and coordination, customer orders are delivered on time and efficiently.

  Your duties and responsibilities are:

  • Translate the sales forecast into a main production plan;
  • Drive and monitor planning for all production departments;
  • Release, check and reschedule production orders;
  • Create customer-specific production orders based on sales documentation;
  • Liaise with external partners for timely parts calls;
  • Correctly implement changes and new products (NPIs);
  • Phasing in and out materials and processing changes in the ERP system;
  • Join production meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues;
  • Identify bottlenecks in the production chain and suggest improvements;
  • Ensure complete, accurate and timely recording of production data;
  • Thinking along on process optimisation within the team.
