For our client in Heerewaarden, we are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner who plays a key role in connecting production, sales and purchasing. • Job description

  As Senior Supply Chain Planner, you are the director of the chain. You work closely with production, sales and purchasing to optimally align supply and demand. You are also actively involved in improving internal processes and act as a sparring partner for the management team.

  Duties and responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and optimising stock levels and product availability (including via WMS)
  • Placing and tracking purchase orders and taking action on discrepancies;
  • Coordinate production planning and identify bottlenecks in a timely manner;
  • Continuously improve supply chain and logistics processes with a focus on efficiency and cost control;
  • Working intensively with internal stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach;
  • Function as interlocutor and advisor to management and colleagues.

• Offer
  • HBO working and thinking level, preferably in logistics or supply chain;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment;
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach;
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages;
  • Communicatively strong, persuasive and able to bring colleagues along with improvements;
  • Experience with change or process improvement projects is nice to have.
