Are you physically fit, technically skilled and do you have a VAPRO A or Operator B background? Then we have a great opportunity for you! For our client, we are looking for several day shift support employees. You can be deployed in the Day Support Operation department or during the preparation and execution of a stop & shutdown. In both roles, you will directly contribute to the smooth and safe running of production and support processes.

• Job description

  Depending on your background and experience, you will start working in one of the following positions:

  1. VAPRO A Employee (DSO - Day shift)
  In this role, you will support the shifts with various tasks around final processing. This includes rinsing bunkers, changing filters, carrying out inspection rounds and solving malfunctions. This is a physically active position where safety and order are always paramount.

  2. Operator (Ole4 Stop & Shutdown)
  During the TA Ole4 stop and shutdown, you will work in the day shift shift and perform a variety of support activities. You will be involved in warehouse work (preparing and sorting fittings and hoses), loading operations (Methanol, DMF, rinse water) including administration and performing measurements. You will contribute to the safe and efficient handling of all operations.

  Your duties and responsibilities

  For the VAPRO A Employee:

  • Perform work at the outpost final processing;
  • Periodically checking and changing filters;
  • Inspecting and cleaning dedusting systems;
  • Walking inspection rounds and identifying discrepancies;
  • Run and release stop programmes for maintenance;
  • Flushing of bunkers as per schedule;
  • Troubleshooting (pipes, switches, extractions);
  • Perform OCS work.

  For the Operator (Ole4):

  • Warehouse work: preparing and sorting fittings and hoses;
  • Perform loading operations and administrative processing (Methanol, DMF, rinse water);
  • Perform measurements (oxygen, explosive and toxic - learnable if necessary);
  • Working with the team of around 10 colleagues;
  • Contribute to the safe and correct execution of TA work.
• About the company

  Our client is an international player in the (petro)chemical industry and producer of high-quality plastics, chemicals and materials. You will become part of a close-knit team where safety, cooperation and quality are key. In the DSO, you will work with 10 colleagues in day shift; during the TA Ole4, you will work together in a group of about 10 operators, possibly in shifts for a short period of time.

  For the VAPRO A Employee:

  • VAPRO A diploma (must);
  • Valid VCA certificate (must);
  • Forklift certificate (must);
  • Physically fit, safety-conscious and communicatively strong;
  • Team player who works neatly and in a structured manner.

  For the Operator (Ole4):

  • Operator B training;
  • VCA certificate (must);
  • Forklift certificate and experience in chemical processes is nice to have;
  • Safety-conscious, accurate and communicative;
  • Dutch-speaking (English not required).
• Your profile
  • A gross monthly salary of up to €3,600
  • A full-time position (40 hours) in day shift, starting ASAP
  • A temporary role with option to extend (at DSO) or extension in case of TA run-out (Ole4)
