• Job description

  You will join a compact team of about 7 colleagues. Together, you are responsible for the safe and stable operation of the continuous fermentation processes, with the aim of optimising green gas production. Maintaining an overview, communicating with colleagues, investigating problems and making improvement proposals are important parts of your job. Showing initiative is appreciated. VBB is a growing team, so your influence is immediately noticeable and necessary.

  Your duties and responsibilities: 

  • Functioning of digestion, water treatment, processing plant and gas upgrading;
  • Monitor and track production parameters;
  • Participate in 24/7 breakdown and on-call services (with associated compensation);
  • Perform sample analyses, control rounds and calibrations;
  • Stock management of products for fermentation and processing;
  • Perform daily process optimisation;
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot corrective failures.
• About the company

  Our client develops and operates a state-of-the-art bioenergy facility for processing organic waste streams. The facility produces around 20 million m³ of biogas per year. Part of this is upgraded to green gas for the Dutch gas grid. This green gas supplies, for example, around 2,000 households with energy every year, thus making an important contribution to making the Netherlands more sustainable.
