To expand our client's maintenance team, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated new colleague, with a mechatronic background and hands-on attitude!

• Job description

  Your main duties and responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician:

  • You will work day shift in clean working environment within a brand new plant, which you will maintain together with your colleagues in a small close-knit team
  • You are responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of the machinery and documentation/work regulations
  • You systematically search for causes of malfunctions and solve them (both mechanical and electrical)
  • If necessary, you carry out repairs on various production equipment and all kinds of technical installations
  • You will report to the Head Maintenance and work with 3 other colleagues within the technical department
  • A breakdown service is applicable (once every 3 weeks, requiring sporadic return to site)

  • You are in possession of a completed MBO degree in engineering, for example Mechatronics or Aerospace Engineering
  • Motivated, sociable and team player are traits that characterise you
  • You have a service-oriented, flexible and proactive attitude
  • Some work experience in a similar position in a production environment is desirable and you are willing to familiarize yourself with new techniques
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to take additional courses that will train you to become a technical expert (it will take about 1.5 years to master all tasks)
  • Knowledge of vacuum technology is an advantage

  • A salary of up to €4,300 gross per month depending on knowledge and experience
